Let’s modernize public health together.

We work in a public health system that was established nearly 50 years ago. A lot has changed since then - I would sure rather use my phone now than a phone from 50 years ago.

So, how do we bring that same kind of modernization to public health?

That’s where the Foundational Public Health Responsibilities (FPHR) come in. Ok, we get it—not as flashy as the latest iPhone. But this framework is powerful. It can help us ensure that no matter where someone lives, they have the same public health protections and the same opportunity to achieve their best health. Isn’t that why we got into public health to begin with?

We're blogging to share the latest and greatest on FPHR in action with public health professionals in Carlton, Cook, Lake, and St. Louis counties. But if you’re joining us from elsewhere in Minnesota and beyond, welcome! We’re glad you’re here.
